Wolverhampton Wanderers have “sounded out the availability” of Hull City manager Marco Silva, the Express & Star reports.
Wolves are expected to part company with current boss Paul Lambert, with the Scot said to have effectively left the club already.
Lambert, who was only appointed as Walter Zenga’s successor last November, is reportedly unhappy with Wolves’ summer transfer plans, which it is claimed will be orchestrated by Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes.
Mendes client Aitor Karanka has already been linked with the Molineux post, and Silva is another on the 51-year-old’s books.

Despite an impressive four months in charge, the 39-year-old was unable to keep Hull in the Premier League and his contract is said to contain a break clause allowing him to leave the KCOM Stadium this summer.
Silva, who has managed European giants Sporting and Olympiacos, was reportedly on Wolves’ radar in 2016, before Zenga replaced Kenny Jackett in the hotseat.

Several top flight sides, including Watford, are also said to be keen on the Portuguese boss.
