Ben Marshall is another Wolverhampton Wanderers player reportedly attracting interest.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have turned down an undisclosed six-figure offer for Cameron John from an unnamed Championship club, the Daily Mail reports.
The left-sided centre-half, who can also provide full-back cover, is still awaiting his Wolves debut, but has impressed for the club’s Under-23s this season.
Wolves, who lead the rest of the Championship by at least 12 points, have an excellent track record of developing young talent, and 18-year-old John could be among the next batch to establish themselves at first-team level, along with Morgan Gibbs-White and Donovan Wilson.
The Daily Mail report adds that Wolves have also received enquiries for out-of-favour winger Ben Marshall, who has been linked with moves to Derby County, Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City in recent months.
It fails to specify, however, from which club(s) the approach(es) arrived.
Marshall, 26, was brought to Molineux by then boss Paul Lambert in January 2017, but has only appeared on nine occasions this season – and not at all since the start of November.
