Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be keen to snap up Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand in the summer transfer window.

Bertrand is set to leave Southampton in the summer, if they drop into the Championship.
And Wolves are said to be one of the clubs considering paying £25 million for the left-back.

Bertrand is regarded as one of the better options at left-back in the Premier League, despite Southampton’s struggles, and Nuno is now believed to be considering bringing the 28-year-old to Molineux.
The England international full-back would be an expensive option for Wolves, but the Championship’s champions have big ambitions.

Wolves do not appear to intend to return to the Premier League and battle against relegation, and they are prepared to spend to break into the upper echelons of the division.
Wolves have already been linked to a number of high-profile targets, and Bertrand is the latest in a list of established Premier League players to be linked with a move to Molineux.
If Bertrand was to sign for Wolves, he would be in competition with Barry Douglas for a first-team place.
