Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Florin Nita from Sparta Prague in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 15:55pm, Saturday, June 9, 2018).

It has been reported that Wolves, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, are among the clubs interested in the 30-year-old goalkeeper.

The Romania international could be available on an initial loan deal with a view to a £4.5 million permanent transfer next summer, according to the report.

The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 15:55pm, Saturday, June 9, 2018) has also reported that Wolves see Nita as an alternative to Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio, who the Wanderers are claimed to want this summer and have bee in negotiations with.

Good move?

Nita is a very good and experienced goalkeeper, and the Romania international would be a smart signing for Wolves.

John Ruddy is the first-choice goalkeeper at the Wanderers at the moment, but the former Norwich City star could do with some competition for the 2018-19 campaign.
