Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Ben Marshall from Blackburn Rovers in the January transfer window.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Ben Marshall from Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Marshall is rated at £1.5 million.
“Marshall has refused new terms and his deal expires this season but Wolves will have to go some to meet his £25,000-a-week wage demands,” adds the report in The Sun.
Wolves boss Paul Lambert worked with Marshall during his time as manager of Blackburn.

The 25-year-old winger, who can also operate as a right-back, is a very good player who has proven himself in the Championship.
The former England Under-21 international has been on the books of Blackburn since 2013.
Marshall has created 20 chances in 18 Championship matches for Rovers so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the winger scored two goals and created 42 chances in 44 Championship matches for Blackburn.

Blackburn are 21st in the Championship table at the moment with 20 points from 20 matches, level on points with third-from-bottom Cardiff City.
Wolves are currently 19th in the standings with 22 points from 20 games, just two points above the relegation zone.
Both the Wanderers and Rovers are in danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season.
