Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a bid to sign Everton target Goncalo Guedes from Valencia in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Wolves have made an official offer of more than £27 million for the 25-year-old winger.
Valencia are prepared to accept the offer, but discussions are going on with the Portugal international, according to Romano.
Wolves are not the only Premier League club who have been linked with Guedes this summer.
Earlier this summer, CalcioMercato reported that Everton are showing interest in bringing the former Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain winger to Goodison Park.

Wolverhampton Wanderers make bid for Everton target Goncalo Guedes
Could a transfer happen?
In our view, it is now very likely that Wolverhampton Wanderers will be able to sign Goncalo Guedes ahead of Everton from Valencia in the summer transfer window.
If Wolves’s bid for the winger is about to be accepted by Valencia, then it is hard to see the player himself turn down a move to the Premier League club.
Wolves are a big and ambitious club in the Premier League, and the Portugal international will be aware that if he does well for the Wanderers for a season or two, then he could move to an even bigger team.
The Portuguese star, who can also play as a centre-forward, scored 11 goals and gave six assists in 30 La Liga starts for Valencia last season.
