Wolves are reportedly locked in negotiation with Porto for Ruben Neves.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are hopeful of signing Porto pair – Ruben Neves and Willy Boly – this summer, according to reports from Express and Star.

Neves has long been rated as one of the most promising players in the Portuguese League since breaking into the first team in 2014.

His stock has fallen over the past 12 months, but still the Championship club will have to pay an eye-catching £15 million to secure his signature.

The 20-year-old, who has played 90 times for his club and has two international caps under his belt, has age on his side to resurrect his form and fulfil his potential.

The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that a deal in the region of £14 million has been agreed between the two clubs.

However, the Express and Star claims that the deal is far from being done, and that negotiation is still ongoing.

Wolves are hopeful that an agreement can be reached, and the player will soon jet to England if the talks go well. The Championship club are also planning to sign French defender Willy Boly from Porto on loan.
