It is claimed that Blackburn Rovers boss Owen Coyle is selling Marshall to Wolverhampton Wanderers in a bid to raise funds for signings of his own.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have finally agreed a deal to sign Ben Marshall from Blackburn Rovers, according to the Sun.
Marshall has been a target for the Molineux side since the summer, with manager Paul Lambert, who managed the winger at Ewood Park last term, maintaining the club’s interest after taking over in November.

The two sides had been unable to agree a fee, however, with Rovers said to want £2 million for the player, who is out of contract in the summer.
But, according to the Sun, the two clubs have now settled on a fee of £1.85 million, with Blackburn boss Owen Coyle keen to put the money towards reinforcements.
The report claims the Scot set to sign a former player of his own as Marshall’s replacement, with Vancouver Whitecaps winger Giles Barnes en route to Lancashire.

The former Derby County prospect, who played under Coyle at Houston Dynamo, could be joined at Ewood Park by French centre-back Abdoul Ba.
The Sun also reported this week that Wolves are set to conclude a permanent deal for on loan winger Helder Costa, which could set them back a club-record £13 million.
