According to Calciomercato, Wolfsburg have matched Brighton and Hove Albion’s offer for Darwin Nunez while AC Milan and Napoli are also keen on the striker.
Prolific Almeria striker Nunez has been heavily linked with a summer exit.
Calciomercato claimed last month how Southampton were looking at the striker.

But the same editorial now say the Saints’ south coast rivals Brighton have made an £18 million offer, with Bundesliga club Wolfsburg also matching their fee.
Brighton impressed in the Premier League last season under Graham Potter.
The Seagulls played a decent brand of football while remaining highly competitive.
Now, with some solid recruitment over the summer, Brighton will be thinking they can push on towards the top ten and establish themselves further in the top-flight.
Nunez, who notched 16 goals in 30 games in La Liga 2 last season, has enormous potential.
The 21-year-old is dubbed fast and strong while having good instincts by Mariano Bogliacino. The former Napoli man told Radio Kiss Kiss how Nunez is similar to Edinson Cavani.
“Nunez exploded two years ago in Uruguay. He is a fast, very strong attacker with physical strength and good instincts, like Cavani. He can thrive in the penalty area,” Bogliacino shared.
Nunez, a now full Uruguay international, will hope to follow in Cavani’s footsteps.
A move to the Premier League could be the making of the striker. And for Brighton, he could be the ideal partner for Neal Maupay and a long-term Glenn Murray type replacement.
