Crystal Palace are reportedly targeting former Ajax ace Gregory van der Wiel.
According to The Mirror, Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer is targeting a reunion with Fenerbahce defender Gregory van der Wiel.
The Eagles moved to appoint De Boer as their new manager last month, landing the Dutchman as a replacement for Sam Allardyce in what has been seen as an ambitious appointment.

De Boer now has some time to bring in new signings to boost his squad, and after landing Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan for the season just days ago, he could now look to target players he has worked with previously.
Not only do Sky Sports report that Palace are closing in on an £8million deal for Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald, but The Mirror now claim that Palace also want Fenerbahce right back Gregory van der Wiel.
Van der Wiel, 29, played under De Boer for 18 months at Ajax before joining Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2012, where he made more than 130 appearances whilst winning four league titles.
Last summer, Van der Wiel moved on to Fenerbahce in Turkey, where he made just 14 appearances in a disappointing campaign, with De Boer now eyeing a reunion.

It’s claimed that Palace boss De Boer wants to rescue Van der Wiel with a £3.5million bid, with the defender himself believed to be keen on leaving Fenerbahce after a dismal year in Turkey.
Palace do have Joel Ward at right back, but De Boer may want another option who is familiar with his approach, and Van der Wiel would fit the bill perfectly for the Eagles.
