Arsenal could see a few departures before the close of the transfer window.

According to a report from Sky Sports News, Jack Wilshere and Serge Gnabry could leave Arsenal today – the former on loan – but Mathieu Debuchy and Chuba Akpom will both remain and fight for their place in the squad.
Gnabry is expected to move to Germany before the transfer deadline, with the Gunners said to be in discussions with Werder Bremen to sell the winger, while Wilshere will have no shortage of options if he does temporarily leave the Emirates Stadium.

Debuchy’s future seemed to be heading the same way, given his lack of game-time in recent months, but the Frenchman is said to be willing to remain at Arsenal and compete with Hector Bellerin for a starting spot.
Akpom’s decision is less surprising given the sheer number of matches Arsenal will play this season and the fact that he is only 20, with practically his whole career ahead of him.

Arsenal fans would have been hoping to see some more incoming signings in the final hours of the transfer window but according to Sky Sports it is going to be quiet in that regard.
