Lys Mousset is facing an uncertain future at Sheffield United as Blades boss Chris Wilder is far from happy with his fitness levels, according to Examiner Live.
With the £10 million striker tipped to depart after just 12 months at Bramall Lane, you would be forgiven for assuming the former Bournemouth youngster has been an expensive flop in the Steel City.
But that is far from the case.
No one has scored more than Mousset’s six Premier League goals in 2019/20 with the skillful Frenchman netting crucial strikes against Tottenham and Manchester United, not to mention the winner in a 1-0 triumph over Arsenal.
There was also that hat-trick of assists versus Burnley.
So, with Mousset potentially set to cut his spell in South Yorkshire short after a single campaign, the issue is not one of quality.

The 24-year-old has played over 80 minutes in just two of his 30 Premier League games and, according to The Star, Wilder is concerned about his fitness – or a lack thereof.
Tellingly, Mousset was left out of the matchday squad completely for Monday’s 1-0 loss against Everton.
Could a man who became the club’s record signing a year ago have played his final game in the red and white stripes already?
Mousset is not the only new striker signing expected to leave, with the Star reporting that loanee Richairo Zivkovic could return to China as Sheffield United cannot afford to sign him permanently as it stands.
