Glasgow Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter could be in line to leave Ibrox before the end of the January transfer window.
Rossiter has endured something of a miserable time with the Gers thus far. The former Liverpool loanee arrived at Ibrox at the end of his contract with the Reds in the 2016 summer window for a fee of £250,000, but has only managed to make a handful of appearances for the Scottish Premiership side since.
Injuries have blighted the 20-year-old’s spell with the Light Blues, with the Record reporting that, as of Monday, he is now back in full training having made his last appearance for the first-team back in August.
But perhaps there is a chance that that win over Ross County at the start of the campaign may prove to be the Englishman’s last appearance for Rangers.
The Record that Wigan are considering making a ‘low ball bid’ for the midfielder as they continue their push for promotion out of the third tier – though it is not clear whether Rangers have any intention to sell Rossiter.
With the Gers boasting a number of midfield options in their squad, it may perhaps be an option that Graeme Murty wants to consider as he may have his doubts regarding whether Rossiter will be able to keep himself fit for a prolonged period of time in the future.
