According to 20 Minutes, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not convinced about Pedro Chirivella.

It has been reported by the French news outlet that Klopp does not think that Chirivella can stake a claim in his side next season.

The report has added that the German boss has decided not to offer the 22-year-old defensive midfielder, who will leave Liverpool at the end of June and will move to Nantes on a free transfer.

Leaving Liverpool

Chirivella has been at Liverpool since 2013, but the Spanish defensive midfielder has made only a handful of appearances for the first team.

The 22-year-old has been out on loan at Go Ahead Eagles, Willem II and Extremadura UD in recent years.

Given how strong the Liverpool team is, it would make sense for Chirivella to leave the Reds on a permanent basis this summer.

The Spaniard is only 22 years of years, and he can have a very good and successful career at another club if he starts playing regular first-team football.

Football in England is suspended at the moment due to the global health crisis, while Ligue 1 in France has been called off.
