Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney slammed Sean Kolasinac at Manchester City on Saturday – and then incurred the wrath of boss Mikel Arteta.
That’s according to Football.London, who claim that tensions were raised during the defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
Arsenal were absolutely hammered by City, falling 2-0 down early on to goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Ferran Torres before Granit Xhaka was sent off.
Gabriel Jesus made it 3-0, with Rodri and Torres adding second half goals to clinch a 5-0 hammering for Pep Guardiola’s side.
When the Arsenal defence was announced as a back three of Calum Chambers, Rob Holding and Kolasinac, many were fearing the worst.
It now turns out that there were major disagreements in the back line, stemming from Kolasinac’s poor marking.
It’s stated that Kolasinac failed to track Gabriel Jesus from a Manchester City goal kick, with the Brazilian operating down the right flank – Arsenal’s left.

Tierney yelled at Kolasinac for his slack marking, but the Scot then lost Kyle Walker in the process, leading to boss Arteta slamming Tierney.
The whole incident sounds like a domino effect, where one player is pulled out of position, then another tries to make up for it and it all falls apart.
This tale is just another dismal one from Saturday’s defeat, and surely Kolasinac can’t be starting many more games for Arsenal – never mind big ones.
