Tottenham Hotspur players still consider Gareth Bale as a popular member of their dressing room, despite his struggles, the Guardian report.
Bale finds himself in more hot water at Tottenham, after he wrote an Instagram post which reportedly frustrated Jose Mourinho.
Bale praised Spurs’s training session the day before their game against Everton, when he was left out at his own request.
But Bale’s popularity in the dressing room has not been dented, despite his slow start to life back at Spurs.
The turn of events may push Bale even further away from Tottenham’s first-team though, and they throw up further doubts over his future.
There was a widespread expectation that the Welshman would be spending the next two years at Spurs, when he arrived on loan in the summer.
Tottenham had an option to extend the deal and all parties appeared to feel that was the ideal solution.

However, Bale has had such little impact at Tottenham that is seems unlikely that his loan spell will be extended.
That means Bale may have to go back to Madrid, and the Guardian already say that if that does happen, it is unlikely that he will leave the Spanish club on loan again.
Bale still may have some hope of turning things around at Tottenham.
However, it is becoming increasingly difficult to see where his next chance comes from, and it is not yet known whether he will even make himself available for their game against Manchester City this weekend.
