Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane faces a race against time to be fit for Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s Champions League final.
Kane has been watched closely by Tottenham’s medical staff, but he is stepping up his recovery from injury.
There is a confidence at Spurs that Kane will be fit for the Champions League final, which takes place in Madrid on June 1st.
The striker is a quick healer, and he looks set to make it back to play on arguably the biggest night in Tottenham history.
Kane will start working with a ball again very soon, and he is pencilled in to start sprinting again next week.
If Kane does return for Mauricio Pochettino’s side it will be a major boost for Tottenham ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool.
The Spurs front-man could also feature for England in the Nations League finals this summer.
Gareth Southgate is set to name Kane in the Three Lions’ squad, after being assured by Tottenham that he will be fit enough to feature for his country.
