Tottenham Hotspur have told Inter Milan that Tanguy Ndombele is not for sale, according to the Guardian.
Ndombele has struggled during his first season at Tottenham, with his injury record highly questionable.
Jose Mourinho has persistently overlooked the Frenchman even when he has been fit, and has been fairly critical of the 22-year-old in public.
There were serious concerns that Tottenham could already offload their record signing, just a year after he joined them.
However, the Guardian suggest that Ndombele will be staying with Tottenham – with Spurs opting to keep faith in the midfielder.
Spurs have reportedly told Inter that they have no plans to sell Ndombele this summer, as there is seemingly a belief that he could still come good.

Ndombele clearly has the ability in possession, but his work-rate and desire does need to improve.
Tottenham appear to be hunting for a defensive midfielder, which could benefit Ndombele hugely, as he would be given more freedom in midfield.
But to impress Mourinho, Ndombele appears to have work to do – and he simply cannot afford to be as poor again next season, otherwise Spurs may not be so determined to keep him next summer.
