Rangers winger Ryan Kent and his representatives have spoken to Leeds United Director of football Victor Orta, according to Leeds Live.

It has been reported that last week, Rangers star Kent and his representatives told Orta that the former Liverpool winger does not plan to leave the Gers and move to Leeds in the summer transfer window.

The report has added that the relationship between Kent’s camp and Orta ’remains very friendly’.

Leeds made a bid of £10 million for the 23-year-old winger last month, which Scottish Premiership giants Rangers turned down, as reported by The Times and Leeds Live.

Moving on

According to Leeds Live, Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa is a long-time admirer of Kent, and there is no surprise that the Whites reportedly want to sign him.

However, it seems that the winger wants to stay at Rangers this season, and the Whites need to move on.

Rangers are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, and Kent will play an important role in that quest.

Meanwhile, Leeds will play in the Premier League in 2020-21 for the first time since 2004.
