Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho’s training has been described as ‘basic’ by sources to the Independent.
Mourinho has come under fire at Tottenham in recent weeks, with his Spurs side dropping points in game where they have been expected to win.
Tottenham’s display against Brighton & Hove Albion last Sunday was particularly concerning, as there was very little attacking invention on display.
And sources have now communicated with the Independent that Spurs actually don’t rehearse many offensive moves on the training ground.
Mourinho’s ideas are said to not extend to much more than to get the ball into Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son and hoping that they create some magic.
Training is apparently focused more around defensive work and organisation, which will be of concern to some Spurs fans, who have been urging their side to show more attacking intent.

It should be noted that Spurs’s attacking play hasn’t always been this stifled, though.
Tottenham were a huge threat on the counter in the early stages of the Premier League season and their display at Old Trafford, when they beat Manchester United 6-1, ranks among their finest in recent memory.
Tottenham will be under pressure to get back to their best sooner rather than later though, with the scrutiny increasing on Mourinho of late.
Spurs are next in action against Chelsea tonight, when a victory could go some way to silencing Mourinho’s doubters, as it would elevate the Lilywhites back into top four contention.
