According to Eurosport, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho likes Gareth Bale despite the Real Madrid-winger not playing regularly so far this season.
Bale returned to Tottenham on loan from Spanish and European giants Madrid in the summer of 2020.
Much was expected of the Wales international winger, but the 31-year-old has not had the desired impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium so far.
According to WhoScored, Bale has made one start and three substitute appearances in the Premier League and has scored one goal in six Europa League matches for Spurs so far this season.
Eurosport has claimed that Tottenham sources have indicated that Bale has improved the harmony of the squad, and that Mourinho ‘likes having him’.
Gareth Bale could be a big player for Tottenham Hotspur
Bale is not guaranteed a place in the Tottenham starting lineup at the moment, but there is no doubt regarding his quality.
The Wales international could play a big role for Spurs in the coming weeks and months.
With Tottenham aiming to win the Premier League and the Europa League this season, Mourinho needs a player like Bale who is experienced and has won major trophies like La Liga and the Champions League.
