Tottenham Hotspur’s Jose Mourinho was shouting ‘go, go, go’ at Erik Lamela before he even entered the field on Sunday, Football London report.
Lamela had to be brought on ahead of schedule for Tottenham against Arsenal at the weekend, after Heung-Min Son picked up an injury in the first-half.
Lamela wasn’t actually ready to come on at first, and Mourinho was overheard shouting at the Argentine to hurry up before he went on, as he wasn’t ready for the call-up.
That lambast certainly seemed to sharpen Lamela up, as he was brilliant soon after being introduced.
The Tottenham winger scored a contender for goal of the season to put Spurs in front.

However, the adrenaline rush from Mourinho’s orders and the spectacular goal may have gone to his head somewhat in the second half.
Lamela picked up two quick bookings and was ultimately sent off, as Spurs crashed to a 2-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
