Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has told Harry Kane that he will not consider any offers for him this summer, 90 Mins report.
Rumours have been swirling this week, with Sky suggesting that Kane may actually ask to leave Tottenham if they don’t make it into the Champions League.
90 Mins back up those claims and say that Kane has already visited Levy to discuss his worries, as he is ‘annoyed’ that the club may miss out on Europe’s top competition again.
But the Tottenham chairman was not in a mood to listen to the striker’s concerns.
Instead, Levy has reportedly told Kane that he won’t be leaving Tottenham – even if an offer of £150 million comes in.
Levy has also apparently assured Kane that Spurs will be more competitive in the future.
If the update is correct it leaves Kane in a rather difficult position now.
The England captain is still on a long-term contract at Spurs, so the club are under no real pressure to sell him.
Tottenham’s chances of making the top four this season look slim now, though.
Jose Mourinho’s side are currently six points away from the Champions League places, with time running out for them to breach that gap.
