
Eddie Howe said at his unveiling that he was ‘all in’ at Newcastle United.
And his actions on Thursday certainly prove as much.
According to The Telegraph, Howe stayed longer at Newcastle’s training ground yesterday.
The 43-year-old and his staff spoke to academy players and watched the Under-23 side be put through their paces.

One thing you could level at previous Magpies managers is that they hadn’t paid enough attention to young players coming through.
The Longstaff brothers are very much the exception because aside from them, things are pretty thin at Newcastle with regards to talent coming through from the academy.
But United fans will love the fact that Howe is, at the moment, at least showing an interest in what Newcastle is producing beneath the senior squad.
With the senior players in a relegation battle and sitting 19th in the Premier League table, Howe does not have the luxury to experiment with youngsters this season.
But again, this is a long-term project for the former Bournemouth coach and the fact he seems interested in what the Under-23 lads are doing is very encouraging.
Howe begins his reign with a visit of Brentford to St James’s Park on Saturday week,
