As revealed by the Mirror, Jack Grealish and Gareth Southgate discussed a few topics during Aston Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday.
The injured Villans talisman was forced to watch from the stands, as the England boss came to watch a few of his Three Lions stars.
The Mirror claim that Grealish gave Southgate the latest update on his shin injury, which is healing well.
Sadly, the 25-year-old hasn’t played since the 0-0 draw against Brighton on February 13th as a result of the issue.
As the Mirror state, Grealish and Southgate were also left purring over Manchester City’s silky football – they made Dean Smith’s side look silly at times.
Despite missing a significant chunk of the season, it would be madness to leave Grealish out of the England squad for EURO 2021.

The Mirror claim he is still expected to go, which is a relief to hear.
The Villa No.10 has enjoyed the season of his life, and looked on course to lift the PFA Player of the Year award until his injury, in our view.

In 23 games this season, the 5-cap England international has scored seven goals while recording 12 assists.
It would be sheer madness to leave him out this summer, to say the least.
