In a report which came out yesterday, Arsenal players’ true feelings towards their manager were seemingly not all positive.
While the situation is not said to be as bad as Jose Mourinho’s at Tottenham, there are now a ‘growing number’ of Arsenal players concerned with Arteta’s approach to games.
Some Gunners players are said to feel that he makes mistakes within matches, which may simply come down to inexperience.
Either way, the report does not make positive reading for Arteta as the pressure builds on his job.
Arsenal’s defeat to Villarreal has really loudened the calls for him to be sacked, after what has now been a disastrous season.
A run to the Europa League semi-finals was papering over the cracks for Arsenal, but there really is little to be positive about now.

Arteta’s side are stationed in ninth place in the Premier League table, and have performed well below all expectations this year.
While the Independent does say that Arsenal’s board have not even considered sacking Arteta yet, his position will surely come under question in the coming weeks, especially with some Gunners players now apparently questioning his decisions.
