Report: What Arsenal linked Ryan Fraser has told his teammates about his future

Ryan Fraser has opened up about his future beyond the end of the summer transfer window amidst links to Arsenal.

Bournemouth’s star winger Ryan Fraser told the BBC that he is unsure about his future after Scotland’s 2-1 victory against Cyprus in the Euro 2020 qualifier on Saturday.

Fraser had a remarkable campaign with the Cherries, netting eight goals and providing an impressive 15 assists in all competitions.

The 25-year-old has just one year left on his current contract and The Mirror reported earlier in April that Bournemouth were agonising over the decision to either sell or keep their star sensation as Arsenal expressed their interest in signing him.

However, Fraser claims that he is still unsure about where he will be next season. He said to the BBC: “The lads have been asking. I don’t know myself so there’s no point thinking about it, wherever I’ll be, I’ll be. I don’t know what is happening. I’m not just saying that.”

The Scotsman has been with the Cherries for the past four years since making the switch from Aberdeen back in 2015. Fraser revealed that he will try to enjoy his game irrespective of where he plays next season and also claimed that he would have a bad game if he thought about anything else.

“Wherever I’ll be, if it’s Bournemouth or if it’s at somebody else, then all you can do is try your best and enjoy football. If you think about anything else, I’ll probably have a bad game,” he said.

Fraser still has the next two months to make a decision about his future but the Scottish international is at the right age to take the big step in his career and Arsenal would be the ideal destination for him to develop as a player in the coming years.
