Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon was part of pre-match warm-up against Everton despite not being involved in the game at Goodison Park, according to Football.London.
What’s the story?
Spurs played out a goalless draw with Everton away from home at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Rodon was not named in the Tottenham matchday squad for the Premier League game.
New Spurs manager Antonio Conte simply left him out.
Football.London have reported that Rodon was actually part of the travelling squad to Liverpool.
It has been reported that the Wales international central defender initially warmed up with the rest of the squad.
The 24-year-old, who cost Spurs £11 million (BBC Sport), then took part in a possession-based game with the players who were starting.

Encouraging for Joe Rodon
It must have been disappointing for Rodon not to be involved in the match against Everton.
After all, the 24-year-old was in the matchday squad for Tottenham’s win against Vitesse in the Europa Conference League last week.
However, it is encouraging that Conte took him with the rest of the squad to Goodison Park.

It shows that the Italian boss likes him and wants him involved.
Rodon has made 13 appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far in his career.
