Nottingham Forest look set to land the West Ham United right-back at long last, while Apostolos Vellios could also depart, for Bolton Wanderers.

Defender Sam Byram is joining Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan from West Ham United, according to the Sun’s live blog (Wednesday 8th August). And the newspaper claims striker Apostolos Vellios could be on his way out of Forest, with Bolton Wanderers ‘hoping to pull off’ a £600,000 deal.
Byram has been linked with a move to the City Ground throughout the summer, and manager Aitor Karanka confirmed the Reds’ interest in the West Ham player earlier this week.
West Ham recently signed Ryan Fredericks in Byram’s position, which appears to leave the £4 million arrival from Leeds United surplus to requirements.
And Vellios also looks to be out of favour, having failed to appear in either of Nottingham Forest’s two matches this season.

The Greek is wanted by Bolton as part of a ‘£1.2 million double deal’ alongside Hearts striker Kyle Lafferty.
Byram would be Nottingham Forest’s 12th summer signing.
Is West Ham’s Byram a good addition for Forest? Likewise Vellios for Bolton?
