West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez is reportedly attracting attention from clubs in the Premier League this summer.

According to a report from ESPN, there are Premier League clubs monitoring Javier Hernandez’s situation, with West Ham considering selling the striker this summer.
Hernandez’s future is up in the air after a mixed spell at the London Stadium. He has scored 15 goals across his two seasons back in England – which is not a bad return given that he has only managed to make 30 starts – but has never quite managed to win over the majority of the West Ham fans during his spell.
ESPN reports that the Irons are prepared to let the 31-year-old leave during this window, and are looking for a fee between £7.9 million and £11.8 million for the striker, whose contract expires next summer.
The report notes that there is interest from Major League Soccer, La Liga, Serie A and the Premier League, with a return to Spain the former Manchester United man’s priority.

Could Hernandez get another chance in England?
While staying at West Ham is reportedly an option for Hernandez, it does appear that he will have plenty of offers to head elsewhere. And it will be interesting to see whether he will have the chance to join one of the Hammers’ Premier League rivals.
Hernandez has frustrated a large number of West Ham fans during his time with the club. But he does continue to boast a decent record and could do a job elsewhere.
