West Ham United’s Cheikhou Kouyate is set to join Crystal Palace.

According to The Guardian, West Ham United midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate is undergoing a medical with Crystal Palace ahead of an £11million move to Selhurst Park.
Kouyate, 28, was snapped up by Sam Allardyce in the summer of 2014, as the Senegal star chose to leave Anderlecht in favour of a move to East London.
The midfielder has been a mainstay for the Hammers since his arrival four years ago, scoring 15 goals in 147 games, but his time in a West Ham shirt may be coming to an end.
With Declan Rice, Mark Noble and Jack Wilshere seemingly Manuel Pellegrini’s first-choice midfield trio, Kouyate is on the fringes of the West Ham side ahead of the new season.
Now, The Guardian report that Kouyate is set to undergo a medical with London rivals Crystal Palace ahead of a move to Selhurst Park, meaning he will stay in the capital.

It’s claimed that an £11million deal – £9.5million up front and £1.5million in add-ons – has been agreed, and personal terms have also been struck with Kouyate ahead of his move.
Palace have been quiet in the transfer market this summer, but Kouyate won’t be the only arrival, as it’s also claimed that Max Meyer and Jordan Ayew are set to join Roy Hodgson’s side imminently.
