Angelo Ogbonna has spent five years in the Premier League with West Ham United but is he heading to Turkey?

Fenerbahce’s sporting director Damien Comolli is keen to seal a deal for West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna, as reported by Takvim.
Back in 2015, The Hammers appeared to have pulled off one of the biggest coups in the club’s recent history when they signed an Italian international centre-half from perennial Serie A champions Juventus for £10 million (ESPN).
Though while Ogbonna at the time was tipped to blossom into one of Europe’s finest defenders, it’s fair to say that hasn’t quite come to pass at the London Stadium.
The 31-year-old remains a divisive figure among the West Ham fanbase thanks to a penchant for some rather naïve mistakes not exactly befitting of a defender with two Scudettos and 13 Italy caps to his name.
Though it would be a surprise if West Ham were willing to let Ogbonna go with the former Torino stopper starting the 1-1 Premier League draw away to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

Fenerbahce apparently want him on loan with an option to buy after bidding farewell to veteran Martin Skrtel.
West Ham aren’t exactly chock-full of options at centre-half however with Winston Reid injury prone and Goncalo Cardoso just 18 years of age. So don’t expect Ogbonna to go anywhere before the end of the month.
