The West Ham United ace looks set to complete his switch to Swansea City, according to reports.
Hammers ace Andre Ayew is travelling to Swansea ahead of his proposed move to the Liberty Stadium, according to the Daily Mail, with a medical pencilled in for this evening.
The 28-year-old joined West Ham from the Swans back in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £20.5 million, but he has struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium.
Ayew has scored just 12 goals in 50 outings for the Hammers, and he never managed to rediscover the kind of form that convinced the east London outfit to part with such a hefty amount of money 17 months ago.
The Daily Mail claim that his time with West Ham is almost up, and that the Ghanaian is on his way to Swansea, where he has a medical pencilled in ahead of his potential £18 million switch.
They also suggest that if the medical proceeds without any incident, the transfer is almost a formality, with personal terms already agreed.
Swansea fans were given a lift last night, after their club beat Arsenal 3-1, and it looks like they will have further reason to smile, with the capture of one of their former favourites seemingly inching ever closer to completion.
