West Ham have decided against signing Marko Arnautovic, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
West Ham had been considering moving for Arnautovic, who now plays for Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.
However, his wage demands are huge and West Ham now feel that bringing the forward, who Jack Wilshere labelled as ‘brilliant’ (Football365), back to the London Stadium is simply too expensive.
The Hammers have also decided that selling Robert Snodgrass this month is now viable.
Snodgrass has struggled for game time at West Ham this term, and while he remains an excellent professional, Moyes is keen to cash in on the Scottish international.

Snodgrass was a fairly regular pick of Moyes last season, but West Ham now have increased attacking options and he has quickly fallen down the pecking order.
The winger, who West Ham picked up for £10 million in 2017 (Reuters), is likely to attract plenty of interest if he is up for grabs, as he has proven himself to be a reliable performer over a number of years.
