The Senegal international is on Monaco’s books but is reportedly not expected to make a permanent switch to on-loan club Inter Milan.
A player believed to have previously been on the radar of West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers has made himself open to a Premier League move, according to a report.
Sky Sports News has claimed that Senegal attacker Keita Balde, who is on the books at Monaco, is not expected to turn his loan tenure at Inter Milan into a permanent move this summer.
Keita began his Nerazzurri stint in August last year but his time at San Siro was not particularly fruitful, with just five goals and three assists in 30 games in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
In comparison, his time at Lazio yielded 31 goals and 26 assists in 137 appearances (Transfermarkt), testament to his talent and prowess as an attacking ace.
Inter, who will reportedly appoint Antonio Conte as manager on a three-year deal, have an option to buy the 24-year-old but are said to be restricted in what they can spend this summer.
In November last year, Tuttomercatoweb issued two separate reports, the first linking Keita to Wolves and the second deeming West Ham to have also had an interest in the player.
The Sky Sports report says Keita still has three years left on his contract with the Ligue 1 club and is valued between £22million and £26million.
