West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass is being chased by Brighton
A report in The Sun has suggested that West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass is attracting Premier League new boys Brighton and Hove Albion’s attention, but the Hammers may have to accept a loss on their January signing if they want him off their books.
Snodgrass arrived at the London Stadium for a fee of £10 million, according to The Sun, having enjoyed a brilliant time as Hull City’s talisman, scoring seven times and contributing three assists for the relegation candidates.

And while the Tigers did indeed go down following his departure, he did little to make the Hammers faithful think it was an eight-figure fee well spent, with no goals and just two assists coming in his 15 appearances for Slaven Bilic’s men.
The Sun is now suggesting that West Ham may be able to move him on this summer as Brighton are interested in the 29-year-old, but they may have to cut their losses with the Seagulls ready to pay £8 million for the Scotland international.

Given Snodgrass’ age and lack of productivity following his move to the Hammers, it would perhaps hardly be a surprise if the deal appealed especially if they are beginning to doubt whether the former Leeds man is capable of thriving with the club.
Meanwhile, while Snodgrass’ time at West Ham has not worked out, it would perhaps also not be out of the question to suggest that he could succeed at the Amex Stadium.
Chris Hughton was the manager who brought the wide-man to Norwich in 2012, and he may be confident about his chances of helping find the kind of player who looked fantastic during his time with Hull in the months before his move.
