West Ham United are set to allow striker Diafra Sakho leave to join Sunderland, reports the Daily Mail.
Sam Allardyce is looking to add a striker to his squad this summer, to ease the pressure on Jermain Defoe next season.
The Black Cats were heavily reliant on the veteran this past season, as he managed 18 goals in all competitions.
16 of those came in the Premier League as he almost single-handedly kept them in the Premier League.

Allardyce knows that he needs support next season though, and has targeted his former West Ham star Diafra Sakho as the man to do just that.
The Daily Mail claimed this week that he was planning a £10million move for the 26-year-old, and it seems that could be enough to tempt the Hammers into a sale.

According to the Daily Mail’s latest report, West Ham chairman David Sullivan is ready to sanction the sale, and put the funds towards adding a new striker to their squad.
The forward line is one they are determined to improve themselves and the fee for Sakho would be warmly welcomed in their efforts to do so.
