West Ham assistant boss scouted John McGinn at Easter Road on Saturday.

West Ham assistant boss Billy McKinlay watched the Hibernian midfielder in action during their 2-0 win over Aberdeen at Easter Road on Saturday.

McGinn is an exciting midfielder who has attracted interest from Celtic and Rangers in recent transfer windows.
This season he has been in fine form as well, scoring six goals for his club in 34 appearances. He was outstanding for Neil Lennon’s side yesterday, and it looks like he has done enough to impress the Hammers officials.

Lennon is desperate to keep the Scotland international, but with just a year left on his present deal, chances are high that he could be sold to the highest bidder.
David Moyes is reportedly an admirer of McGinn, and should the Hammers make a move for him in the summer, it will be really difficult for both Hibs and the player to turn down the offer.
