According to The Sun, West Ham United are keen on signing Basaksehir full back Junior Caicara – but face a battle with West Bromwich Albion.
It’s claimed that Caicara wants a move to the Premier League, preferring a move to England despite interest from Zenit St Petersburg.
Caicara would allegedly cost just £3million, and a move to England is aided by the fact that he has a Bulgarian passport.
West Ham are thought to be keen, but former Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is interested in luring him to West Brom too.
Caicara, 31, won the Turkish league title this season, and has bags of experience across spells with Ludogorets, Schalke and Basaksehir.
The Brazilian isn’t the biggest right back at just 5ft 8in tall, but he is quick and impressive on the ball, offering plenty going forward.

West Ham do need a cheap right back, and Caicara’s experience would make him fine cover for youngster Ben Johnson, with Ryan Fredericks potentially moving on.
West Brom have Dara O’Shea and Darnell Furlong, but may fancy adding a bit more experience in that area, which Caicara can provide without breaking the bank.
