The Daily Mail claim that a Chinese Super League club is offering wages above £200,000-a-week for Arnautovic’s services as the club fear his head could be turned.
It is said that the recently-capped England man, Wilson will be their number one target this month should Arnautovic leave for China.
Over the course of the campaign, 26-year-old Wilson has played 23 games in all competitions for Eddie Howe’s side, scoring 10 goals, including nine strikes from his 20 league encounters.
By contrast, Austria international Arnautovic, who is three years older than Wilson, has played 17 Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup matches this term, scoring eight goals and providing two assists to his teammates.
The report details that whilst the Hammers don’t wish to sell their first team player, accepting a bid beyond £36 million would be sensible business from the club because Arnautovic turns 30 in April.
Added with that, it is claimed that West Ham know they will have to offer in excess of £35 million for Wilson considering he has been touted at £50 million.
During his time at Dean Court, Wilson has played 138 games in all competitions for the south coast club, scoring on 53 occasions.
According to Spotrac, Wilson is earning £60k-a-week at his current club as his supporters will be hoping his is still wearing their colours come the end of this month.
