The Nice hitman is a reported transfer target for West Ham United.

According to Turkish media outlet Aspor, West Ham are ready to challenge Galatasaray for the signature of Mario Balotelli, who will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Italian joined Ligue 1 side Nice in the summer of 2016, and he has really impressed during his time in France, chalking up 39 goals in 59 games thus far.
Balotelli has a bad reputation for causing trouble both on and off the pitch, but he seems to have calmed down over the past few years.

At 27, the former Manchester City and Liverpool hitman still has a lot to offer at the very highest level, and his availability on a free transfer at the end of this season surely makes him a risk worth taking.

Turkish publication Aspor claim that Galatasaray are leading the race for Balotelli’s signature, but the Hammers are amongst a handful fo clubs who are also keeping tabs on the Italy international.
West Ham fans have always loved a maverick, none more so than the Italian magician Paolo Di Canio, and despite Balotelli’s checkered past, he could be the ideal fit for the Hammers, and follow in his countryman’s footsteps.
