The Express claim West Ham are looking at a possible deal for Watford man Hassane Kamara this summer. He is not the only Hornets player West Ham are keen on signing, with striker Emmanuel Dennis also a target.
Watford suffered relegation some time ago and it has given their players time to think about a summer move. Kamara, 28, only joined Watford in the January window from French side Nice, playing 19 times for the Hornets.
But the Ivory Coast international has now suffered relegation and with a contract until 2025, faces playing in the Championship next season. But West Ham could offer the left-back a lifeline, with the Hammers keen.

West Ham do have options on the left side of their defence. Aaron Cresswell is first choice, while Arthur Masuaku is cover. Ben Johnson can play on the left. But David Moyes clearly wants better cover for Cresswell, who is 32.

While they have options, Masuaku is hardly one that can be relied upon. A decent player, but he is injury prone. West Ham are in the Europa Conference League next season and will need a bigger squad to compete.
Cresswell is getting on now and while crucial, if the Hammers play three at the back, he is likely to be the left side of that trio. Johnson is right-footed and a long-term solution on the right of the Hammers defence.
Given that Kamara cost Watford £4million (Observer) in January, he is hardly going to cost the Earth given they have now been relegated. A smart move by Moyes, if they can convince Kamara to move to London.
