According to the London Evening Standard, West Ham United are plotting a move for Brentford wide man Said Benrahma as a replacement for Felipe Anderson.
It’s claimed that Brazilian winger Anderson is still being eyed up for a move away, with Porto pursuing a loan deal.
The Portuguese window is still open for a few weeks yet, so Porto have time to grab Anderson and bolster their squad.
If Anderson does go, then West Ham already have a replacement in mind as they target Brentford star Benrahma.
Many had expected Benrahma to move on this summer, having racked up 17 goals and 10 assists last season as Brentford reached the Championship playoff final.
The 25-year-old is one of the top players in the Championship, possessing creativity and nonchalant skill as well as the end product needed to be a success.

Benrahma would surely cost more than £20million, so some West Ham fans will be sceptical of the Hammers actually signing him following a disappointing summer.
Premier League clubs can still buy from the EFL until October 16th, so West Ham do have time to land Benrahma – but they’ll have to come up with a considerable fee for the Algerian.
