West Ham United are reportedly keen on Nice star Malang Sarr.

According to French newspaper Nice Matin, West Ham United have identified Malang Sarr as a replacement for Issa Diop should he move on.
Sarr, 20, was born in Nice and has come up through the ranks with his hometown club, emerging as a first-team star under Lucien Favre.
The defender already has almost 100 first-team appearances to his name, and he’s being touted for a huge future either at centre back or left back.
It’s now though that West Ham have picked out Sarr as a potential signing, as they begin to look for defenders just in case star centre back Diop moves on this summer.
The problem is that West Ham may well miss out on Sarr. German duo Borussia Monchengladbach and RB Leipzig are both thought to be interested, and there’s a danger that they’ll move before West Ham would be in a position to do so.
West Ham are currently standing firm on Diop, but Sky Sports claim they’ll sell the Frenchman to Manchester United if they offer £60million – almost three times what Diop cost a year ago.

West Ham may well look to France again if Diop moves on, and Sarr fits the bill as a young, strong, quick, technically adept and promising defender.
The only major concern would be Sarr’s height. He’s only 6ft tall, whereas Diop stands at a towering 6ft 4in, yet he may still be eyed as a potential replacement for Diop if the Hammers have time to do it.
