West Ham United have been linked with the young Chelsea midfielder.
According to a report from the London Evening Standard, West Ham United are one of two clubs interested in taking Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan this month, with Chelsea willing to sanction a deal.
The Hammers are in need of quality reinforcements in a number of key areas, with a new right-back and an additional striker surely high on their list of priorities. However, they may also be about to strengthen in midfield – at least temporarily.

Loftus-Cheek is widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in England, and with little chance of regular chances at Chelsea in the short term a loan move would suit all parties.
According to the Standard, West Ham are not the only club interested in the 20-year-old, with Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion also circling as they bid to continue their impressive promotion push.

The Seagulls are said to have already opened talks with the Blues regarding a potential move, but that West Ham remain interested.
Chelsea are said to want assurances that Loftus-Cheek will get sufficient game time wherever he ends up this month; something West Ham may not be able to offer unless they drop one of their big-name players.
