According to The Mirror, West Ham United boss David Moyes is keen to bring in Chelsea talent Billy Gilmour on loan.
It’s claimed that Moyes wanted to take Ross Barkley on loan from Chelsea over the summer, and is now looking to take Gilmour.
Moyes allegedly wants to see whether Gilmour is in the plans of new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, seemingly hoping a loan move is possible.
Tuchel has only been at Chelsea for a couple of days, so it’s unclear whether he has even had the time to make a decision on Gilmour yet.
With the transfer deadline coming up on Monday though, West Ham need a quick response from the Blues as they would need time to move on to other targets.
Gilmour, 19, has shown real quality in the Chelsea side, and a Premier League loan until the end of the season could really help him develop.

Gilmour is diminutive, but possesses a low centre of gravity, great vision on the ball and maturity beyond his years, so he could come in and compete with Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek in midfield.
David Moyes is a big fan, telling BBC Sport last year that Gilmour is the Scottish player he would love to sign more than anyone else, so the interest is no huge shock now.
However, with Jesse Lingard potentially arriving on loan, West Ham would need to turn Craig Dawson’s move permanent to free up another loan spot, with a few moving parts surrounding Gilmour’s potential move to East London.
