West Ham United are reportedly keen on Edouard Mendy.

According to The Mirror, West Ham United want to land Stade Reims goalkeeper Edouard Mendy – but Newcastle United are also interested.
The Hammers appointed Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager on Tuesday, with the Chilean boss replacing David Moyes just a week after his London Stadium exit.
Former Manchester City chief Pellegrini is now charged with the task of turning West Ham into a top half team again, and he will be looking for new signings to boost his squad.
One position he must strengthen is between the sticks, as Joe Hart is returning to Manchester City following a less-than-impressive loan spell, and Adrian hasn’t been a regular for some time.

Now, The Mirror report that West Ham are considering signing a new goalkeeper, with Stade Reims ace Edouard Mendy believed to be wanted as Pellegrini’s first signing.
Mendy, 26, played a starring role in Reims’ promotion to Ligue 1 this season, keeping 17 clean sheets in 31 games whilst conceding just 19 goals across the course of the campaign.
The 6ft 5in shot-stopper, formerly of Marseille, is believed to be valued at just £2million, and could be bargain option for West Ham as they assess goalkeeping targets.
However, Newcastle United are also thought to be keen, lining up Mendy as an alternative target to loanee Martin Dubravka, meaning West Ham may have to move quickly.
