According to le10sport, West Ham are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Idrissa Gueye, with Crystal Palace also keen.
The French outlet claims it’s an “economic necessity” that Thomas Tuchel’s side sells some players in this window.
Leonardo Araújo, the Parisians’ sporting director, apparently wants to move the 64-cap Senegal international on to raise funds.
The report also states Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers were keen on the ex-Lille man, although their interest has cooled.
Gueye spent three years with Everton before completing a £30 million move to PSG only last summer. However, it appears they are no longer in need of the 30-year-old.

If you were wondering what kind of player Gueye is, PSG’s number 27 has been likened to Chelsea star and World Cup winner N’Golo Kante by Steve Walsh, the man who signed him for Everton.
Coincidentally, Walsh also signed Kante for Leicester.

Walsh told The Times: “He’s very grounded, gets whacked, gets up, gets around people when they have the ball, very much like Kante.
“I’d say his use of the ball is slightly better, even if he’s not quite as good at retrieving.”
West Ham have yet to sign a new face this summer, whereas Crystal Palace have secured Michy Batshuayi, Ebere Eze and Nathan Ferguson.
In that respect, perhaps the Eagles should let the Hammers have this one?
