West Ham United have reportedly enquired about Lyon forward Bertrand Traore, but a deal is said to be unlikely.

According to a report from 90min, West Ham are unlikely to be sign Lyon forward Bertrand Traore this summer despite Manuel Pellegrini’s men making an enquiry for the 23-year-old.
Pellegrini is seemingly hoping to put the icing on the cake after what has been an exciting window for the Hammers. Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals have captured the imagination following their arrivals at the London Stadium, while a lot of players have been moved on throughout the summer.
Despite the arrival of the two attacking players, West Ham still seemingly have their eye on further reinforcements, with 90min reporting that an enquiry has been made for former Chelsea man Traore.
The youngster scored seven goals in Ligue 1 last season having bagged 13 in the top flight the year before. However, it appears that he will not be returning to England before the transfer deadline passes.

90min reports that Lyon are adamant that they will not loan Traore out, and West Ham may not be able to afford a permanent move after breaking their club record to sign Haller.
While Pellegrini appears to be making a smart move to try and add to the depth within his squad before the window shuts, it does not appear to be the kind of deal that West Ham will rue missing out on given the quality that they already have in that area of the field.
However, if they can reach an agreement before the deadline passes, it may prove to be a very good piece of business as they look to sustain the promise they hope to show in the coming weeks over an entire season.
