Report: West Ham United’s Javier Hernandez rated at £8m

According to The Daily Star, Javier Hernandez will leave West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the former Manchester United striker is rated at £8 million.

The report has also claimed that the 30-year-old is West Ham’s higest earner with a weekly salary of £140,000.

Hernandez has been on the books of West Ham since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee reported by the Hammers’ official website to be worth £16 million.

According to WhoScored, the Mexico international has made 14 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for West Ham, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in the process.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the 30-year-old made 16 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the league for the Hammers, scoring eight goals in the process, according to WhoScored.

West Ham are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 46 points from 36 matches.
